Graduated from Boğaziçi University Psychology Department, Almelek received a postgraduate diploma on Art History from Goldsmiths College of London University. Almelek, who has a master’s and doctorate degree in the field of “Western Art and Contemporary Art” at Ege University, is currently working as a lecturer in Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Education Department.
