In 1990, after completing her ballet education in Ankara State Conservatory, she started her career in the Royal Belgian Ballet. In 1995, after a “Giselle” performance with the Royal Belgian Ballet in Paris, she became a principal dancer and performed the entire repertoire of classical ballet as a principal dancer at the Royal Ballet. As a guest artist, she danced in principal roles in world-famous ballet companies such as Royal Danish Ballet, Dutch National Ballet (HET), Royal Swedish Ballet, Houston Ballet, Estonian National Ballet, Miami Ballet and San Francisco Ballet. In 2001 she was awarded the best dancer of the year in Belgium. Our artist received the best dancer award by her performance as Aurora in the “Sleeping Beauty” ballet at the Belfast Festival, is still working as the Ballet Chief Choreographer at the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet since the 2015-2016 season.
