Emre Şen gave concerts and recitals with BASO (Bilkent Academic Symphony Orchestra) during 8-years of his piano education at Bilkent University. The First Prize of 5th Rome International Piano Competition, that he won in 1995, offered Emre Şen the opportunity to tour a concert in Europe, and in this period Italian press defined him as “The Demonic Angel of the Piano”. He entered the Paris École Normale de Musique piano department by a scholarship and finished the “Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste” class with first place in the field of piano and chamber music. In 2000, after his education in New York for one year, Emre Şen returned to Turkey and got the bachelor’s degree from Eskişehir Anadolu University with the Art Encouragement Award from the State Conservatory. He completed his postgraduate education at the Royal College in London with a degree of excellence and graduated at the top in concerto.
